Turkish Translator
My name is Ali Yildirim and I have been working as a self employed freelance translator since 2003. I achieved "merit" pass mark in the "technology" option of Diploma in Translation exam (by the Institute of Linguists) in January 2010. I came to UK in 2001 and began translating documents from and into English for Amtec Co-op, the company I worked for. In 2003, I started working for myself and setup Bosphorus Language & Translation. Since 2003, I have provided services for many companies and organisations such as Nokia, Canon, Portsmouth City Council, Defence School of Languages, Greater London Authority and for countless others. I also work for the Language Line a as a telephone interpreter. Translation, interpretation, proofreading, localization and transcription are among the main services I offer. Quality, speed and price are my my most important attributes. I never agree with taking on a project I cannot deliver. In my entire professional translation career, I have not even once failed a deadline. I am committed to professional development and I constantly strive to develop myself in different aspects of the translation profession including learning about new technologies and developing my vocabulary and reading different publications about translation.
